Description:
Save as default, enables you to work on item i.e. new test case (set version, build, test suite etc...) and now you want those last values you edit to be the defaults (for current session) this feature will allow you just that button click away.
Scenario:
Tester is start to write test cases for specific product and component assign it to test set, after filling the first item he would like use it as base line for the following test cases he will write, clicking on the save as defaults button will do just that.
Steps:
1. Create new item (fill all the fields you need).
2. Click on “Save as default” button, this will save all the fields values as defaults for the next item.
3. Open new item, your base line (defaults values) for the new item will be same as in the item you clicked on the “Save as defaults” button.
