Manage Multi Domains |

Description: This article will explain the purpose of the multi-domains feature, and how to use it in InformUP Tracking System.
Scenario: We are a software company that has several clients that reports bugs on different projects, we give them the ability to report bugs directly to our InformUP Tracking System, we need the ability to differentiate between bugs that came from each client and the ability allow our clients to view only the bugs reported by them.
Steps:
1. Build our clients domains in informUp Tracking System. a. Open Folder List -> Tables -> Domains.
b. Click on the “New” Button.
c. Add Domains. 2. Assign Groups/Skill to Domain.
a. Open Folder List -> Tables -> Groups.
b. Create special define groups for our clients with the permissions they need. 3. Create user in InformUP to our Clients.
a. Open Folder List -> Tables -> Users.
b. “Add New User” and assign to its Domain. c. Please note that user can be assign for more than 1 Domain, i.e. clients will be able to assign bugs directly to QA manager. 4. clients A Reports bugs (via InformUP or via customized web form).
a. Client A login to InformUP Tracking System and report Bug.
b. He can only assign the bug to group which relate to his domain. 5. Client B reviews his bugs Status (verify he can’t see Client A bugs)
a. Client B login to InformUP Tracking System.
b. Client B can view only Bugs create/lives in his Domain.
6. QA manager reviews bugs reported.
a. QA Manager Login to InformUP Tracking System.
b. Review bugs reported from all the clients/domains.
c. QA Managers assign bug from client B to R&D.
d. Client B login to the system to check bugs status, can see that bug #2 is in R&D (also can get notification by mail).
