5. Explanation about the table column display.
a. Name – Status name in this flow i.e. “Fixed”, “Closed”, “Re-open” etc…
b. First Stage – the first status this flow will start i.e. for bugs usually it will be “New”.
c. Group Permission – group permission to view/change status, i.e. as a controller we must make sure that only QA group will change bugs status to “Verified by QA”.
d. Transition To – the statuses we can move from current status, i.e. if we currently got bug/defect with status “Fixed” it can be change only to “Closed”, Re-open”, Verified by QA”.
e. Color – set up color for status, same as priority, severity etc…
f. Help – explanation about this status.
g. Edit – will open the selected row (status) for editing.
h. Delete – will delete the selected row(status) from the flow.
6. Add new status “Need more Information” to Bug flow.
a. Click on the “Add new Status” button at the bottom of the table
b. Type new Status name i.e. “Need more Info”
c. Select Group permission if needed, in this case not required.
d. Add explanation about his status (Help column).
e. Click update.
7. Add new “Transition To” option for this status.
a. Find your new status in the table (“Need More Info”).
b. Notice that in the new status row you have new button “Add New Field”
c. Click on “Add New Field” button
d. Now you can add all the required “Transition” options for this status.
e. Finally click update.
f. You can add as much as required.
